Alex Evenings Women's Tea-Length A-Line Dress with Tie Belt | Elegant Cocktail Party Dress for Weddings, Dinners & Special Occasions

This is a gorgeous, elegant, tea-length dress! I purchased this to wear for a formal anniversary portrait and to wear to dinner on our anniversary. I will also wear it to an up-coming wedding. I could not be happier with my choice! The color is a rich navy. I am 5'6", weigh 125 pounds. I usually wear an 8 or a 6 in dresses and the six fits perfectly. I especially love the skirt on this dress - very light weight and flowy which works well for a fit and flare style dress - does not look like a bunch of excess fabric on the bottom. It is a true tea-length dress which is hard to find. (One of the benefits to a tea-length dress for me is that it is easy to go bare-legged with a sandal shoe without an expanse of un-tanned leg showing. ) In my opinion, nothing is more elegant than a dress of this length. I can not wait to wear it!!!Looking for a dress for my Grands wedding for 3 months. I ordered this thinking it might be too small but it fit perfect. It is what I have been looking for months.Great color, top dress texture didn’t seem to go with the skirt texture, gross grain belt was not good proportion for the dress.Fit was good, just not substantial for a wedding.Dress color was not as pictured. If color didn’t matter the dress is gorgeous.This is a beautiful dress. I simply needed it to be much smaller. I love Alex Evening styles but I really need a size 4 and I have only seen a couple of those but not in the color I need. I have settled on another Alex Evening in a size 6 but will have to alter it down. I’m 5’4” at 130. AE runs large and they need smaller sizes.The dress arrived quickly, tightly packed in a small plastic bag, had to spend a lot of time ironing it and making look properly. There were threads stiking out of the stiches. Had to cut them off carefully.But the dress fit perfectly and I felt comfortable in it.This dress is perfect for my Grandson's wedding. It fit perfectly, needs no alterations and is very comfortable.I am 5'5 and got the size 6, sent back because the length is too long for me. The model wearing the dress must be super tall because on her, the dress looks more of a cocktail dress. I did notice in a lot of reviews that a lot of the reviews were mother of the brides - this would be perfect for them. However, as a fun cocktail dress (as represented on the model) - no. Not too sparkly - which I liked. Would have given 5 stars, but model pic does not represent the length of the dress correctly. And I know, I know the description says tea length, but I think the picture should represent this.Disappointing! The dress arrived in the smallest of bags which resulted in extreme creasing. Where the bag had been sealed, the belt was stuck on the seal leaving the belt sticky. As the dress was so creased I was unable to have a true reflection what it would look like. I was also unsure if the creases would drop out. I returned the dress.El vestido no es el color de la foto, es un azul mas fuerte y brilla un poco mas en la blusa por la lentejuela, viene muy largo a mi mama le arrastra y no es chaparra. Vino muy mal envuelto ya que solo lo pusieron en una bolsa todo mal arreglado, por su precio deberian ponerlo en una caja y ser mas precavidos en enviarlo bien doblado y con estilo. Llego arrugado y desordenado. Eso habla mal de la tienda.
