This belt is a great idea but so frustrating to adjust! When I first got it I immediately started pulling the ends to make it bigger. BIG MISTAKE! I had to pull them back out to the original location they came in. After being frustrated and untangling the belt through the adjusters finally after a long time I got them untangled/unbunched and back to where they originally came. It’s extremely hard because the plastic sticks together and the adjusters don’t slide on the plastic well AT ALL! This causes it to get rolled up/stuck under the adjusters and all wonky! Here’s tricks I wish I would’ve known off the bat to making this belt work:1) first put the belt ON. Wrap the belt around your waist (not in your belt loops) to adjust it! It makes it easier and the belt doesn’t get tangled/bunched as easily as you slide the adjusters.2) GO SLOW and take your time sliding the adjusters, concentrating on not bunching up and tangling the plastic belt.3) Go little by little pulling and pushing the adjusters. If you see the belt starting to get bunched up, go back and fix it.4) try to keep the different plastic layers of the belt separate as you adjust them. It’s hard to explain but if you have the belt hopefully you will understand. I posted a picture (last picture) trying to demonstrate what I mean. It’s the picture of my hand holding apart the different plastic layers.I have a love hate relationship with this belt! It does work well when you FINALLY get it adjusted. I have the dreaded “gap waist” with all my pants and hate wearing regular belts because they are uncomfortable. I only wear stretchy belts. I was sick of my normal black stretchy belt because it looks like crap with light jeans. I’m not a huge fan of the plastic used on this belt because it’s shiny and a bit tacky looking. They could’ve used a matte plastic and it would’ve made it easier to adjust (less sticky) and also less tacky looking. Nonetheless once I got it figured out and fitting correctly it’s comfortable to wear and probably looks better than my black stretchy belt. It does work well to keep my pants up and close the dreaded “gap waist” I have from my pear shape. The buckle magnet works pretty well and is easy enough to do. I didn’t really know how to rate this belt because I like it but at the same time it could use some serious upgrades! I posted pictures of the belt tangled up for reference of what I’m taking about when you don’t adjust it properly. I also posted pictures of it from when I finally got it untangled. Lastly I also posted pictures of me wearing it to show how it looks on. I really hope this review helps someone out there. I didn’t see a whole lot of pictures of the belt being worn. Just remember if you do buy this belt put the darn thing ON and GO SLOW when adjusting it. It may take you a bit to figure it out, it definitely did me! (I’m convinced some of these reviews are not real….?)UPDATE: I just wanted to give a little update on how this belt is holding up after wearing it constantly for a while. Well, it’s holding up surprisingly well. I have had no issues with it since the initial adjustment issues upon first purchasing it. I wear it all the time and it’s comfortable to wear and easy to work the magnetic buckle. If I could I would give it 3.5 stars for functionality other than the fact it’s hard to adjust and also too shiny looking. I guess I would probably recommend this belt if you are willing to deal with the issues mentioned. I’ll probably order a second one to have as a back up since I wear it often. In case anyone was curious I also have the black fabric belt from this brand, and I really like it. It is way easier to adjust. The black fabric stretchy belt from the brand I can 100% recommend, so keep that in mind.I first bought an Isabelt back in 2014, and until a week ago I was still happily wearing it. Then my cat, who has an addiction to chewing on anything plastic, managed to get hold of it while I was asleep, so I had to but a new one. Had that not happened, I think that belt would’ve easily lasted me another eight years. I LOVE these belts. I have had other brands, but the buckle on this one is unlikely to break, which I found to be a problem with some other brands. The buckle on this one is now even better than before because it’s magnetic. I absolutely do not look as though I’m wearing a belt — it works perfectly. Love it, and it’s now the only brand I’ll buy. (And it will fit just about anyone!)I had a plastic belt before and loved it, but it was stiff and held my pants in. This belt is too flimsy to do any good. I was very disappointed. It’s a bit futzy getting it through the belt loops but that’s ok. It’s thin so you dont see it under a shirt or top. Nice clasp. Doesn’t stretch even though it’s plastic.OMG! I have been thinking about such a belt for years. I hate that big buckle poke-out fr my jeans/pants. I even dreamed of inventing such a thing myself...but I didn't. My bad. It's like seeing an abstract painting in the art gallery...say, a white canvas with a big purple dot in the middle and that's it...for $10,000. You say, "I could do that!"...BUT YA DIDN'T! ie. the Invisible Belt is worth it to me!I'm surprised, but it does work. At first, I was a little worried about shortening it for a snugger fit for fear it would stretch out. But, for the price, I'm okay IF it does. I'll just buy another one. This is to be worn under a shirt or layering piece. It's not a fancy leather belt. It does, however, eliminate the leather belt bulge. My only complaint is that if I need to undo it to use the bathroom, for example, mine comes out of half the belt loops like a coiled spring. I have limited use of one arm. So, for me, it's extra effort to get it pulled back through the belt loops.For a person such as myself with scoliosis this belt has helped me tremendously. I'm straight on one side and curvy on the other; therefore, shorts, capris and long pants always slip down my straight side causing one pant leg appearing longer than the other. I could not use a regular belt to hold up below-the-waist pants. IsABelt has solved this problem because it can be adjusted and prevents slippage. On this belt's negative side, it will twist every time I have to undo it in the "wash room," and can be unnerving to straighten it out. I resolved this problem by using "grip" bobbi pens (I wear my blouses and tops outside the waistband). This belt has been great for me!Product is sturdy and easy to adjust and use. Provides a great “no show” belt solution.This belt is difficult to adjust because the plastic sticks to itself. There is a modicum of stretch but if you don't adjust it precisely it slips on the fabric of the garment and sits above the top of the fabric at the front and back. It is also very tacky-looking and ugly if you don't cover it with a top. Overall, it is not worth the price and I am now ordering a couple of old fashioned elasticated belts with flat buckles.Product arrived on time and it meets the need.
